How do I add an expense?

Open a group and tap the + button. Enter the amount and description, choose who paid and how it's split (equally, by shares, or exact amounts), and save. You can attach a receipt photo too.

How are balances worked out?

Every expense records who paid and who owes a share. Settle nets all of it out per person, so the group screen always shows the simplest set of "who pays whom" to clear the slate.

How do I settle up?

Tap Settle up on a group or friend, confirm the amount, and record the payment. The actual money moves outside the app — UPI, cash, whatever works — Settle just keeps the score.

Can I add someone who isn't on Settle yet?

Yes. Add them by name — they hold a normal place in splits. When they later join via your invite link, their history attaches to their account automatically.

How do I delete my account?

Profile → Account → Delete account. This removes your profile and associated data, as described in our Privacy Policy.
